Our Philosophy

Hands of Comfort Foundation, Inc. is a charitable, not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of disadvantaged children and adults, both locally and globally. We work collaboratively with public and individual contributions to create a lasting impact, ensuring better opportunities for those in need.

Our Members, Executive Committees, and Board of Trustees are committed to establishing a clear, long-term vision for the foundation—to be the most responsive and effective charitable organization in the industry. Our Goals

Hands of Comfort Foundation is dedicated to supporting individuals in Nigeria, economically underserved areas in the Chicago Metro, and impoverished rural communities in Nigeria. Our mission is to drive meaningful change in these communities by focusing on education, healthcare, and community development. We seek funding to support the following initiatives, which aim to empower youth and improve lives:

• Education, Information, and Communication:

  Promote the study of science and technology among junior and high school students.

  • Eliminate illiteracy in youth under the age of 15.
  • Offer scholarship opportunities to deserving students.
  • Provide essential resources such as computers, books, desks, and chairs for targeted schools.
  • Renovate deteriorating school buildings to create a better learning environment.
  • Organize training programs and conferences to help individuals excel in English and thrive in a corporate setting.
  • Provide nutritious lunches to primary school children.
  • Support immigrants struggling to integrate into the workforce by providing essential training.
• Medical Mission and Food Relief Programs:

  Conduct medical missions in rural areas that have been neglected by government services.

• Food Relief Program:

  As part of our medical missions, Hands of Comfort Foundation will visit orphanages, motherless homes, shelters for the homeless, and homes for the deaf at least bi-annually, distributing food and clothing to those in need.

• Healthcare Projects:
  • Drug Donations: We will request drug donations from pharmaceutical companies and collaborate with the Federal Surplus Property Program to acquire and distribute medical equipment to rural clinics. These medications will be sent to underprivileged areas, particularly in third-world countries.
  • Medical Clinics: We aim to establish clinics in rural locations that are over 50 miles away from the nearest hospital.
  • Clinic Partnerships: We will identify local clinics and hospitals interested in partnering with us to implement our healthcare initiatives.
  • Medical Missions: Our doctors will visit rural communities, distribute medications, offer treatments, raise awareness on health issues such as AIDS, and track progress.
• Acquisition of Infrastructures:

  Our goal is to build world-class schools, health centers, and community services through strategic infrastructure development. The first phase of this project is set to be completed by 2020 (from 2017 to 2020).Team:
